Our office decided to open on May 6th and this decision was made to follow the Texas Dental Board who allowed us to reopen on May 4th. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Board, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations. You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and team.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. Less than half the usual number of patients will be seen in the operatory area at a time. Also, patients will be seated as far apart as possible, as we are striving to see one patient at a time. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to disinfect the area, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any given time. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointments. We may give priority to the patients whose treatment is urgent, and the treatment that does not have an urgency might be scheduled later according to the original order. We will be working very hard to catch up on missed appointments.
We look forward to seeing you again and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about all the changes happening in our office. To make an appointment, please call our office at 281-531-0710.
We want you to know that we do not take for granted that you have chosen us for your dental needs. We value your trust and loyalty and will continue to strive for excellence in what we do.Sincerely,

When it comes to Teeth Whitening and Bleaching, you've got two options: in-office-based teeth bleaching, or at-home care. There are pros and cons to each option, but before you try at-home tooth-bleaching kits, be sure to talk to your dentist. Not everyone will see good results. Bleaching will not whiten porcelain crowns or composite tooth-colored bondings.
In general, the longer you keep a stronger solution on your teeth, the whiter the teeth will become. However, the higher the percentage of peroxide in the whitening solution, or holding the solution gel for a long time, increases the chance of sensitive teeth and gum.
Each option has advantages and disadvantages, but you should always consult a dentist before trying a home tooth bleaching kit. Not everyone will see good results. Bleaching does not whiten the porcelain crown or composite tooth-colored filings.
